About Us

If you’re on website, you’re probably wondering what the hell you’re looking at right now. Well let me clear up some questions I’m sure you have.

Funkysachin.com is a place that I use as a car journalist and so-called “comedy” writer to showcase my content all in once location. This has come in the form of serious article (such as various motoring pieces) but also through the ‘Random Reviews’ where I let out my silly side and do satirical reviews of things that by no means need a review.

Random Review classics include Water Review, Cats vs Dogs, the infamous Toilet Review along with its bizarre trailer – as well as my cover of You Suffer by Napalm Death; a song totalling to length of 1.3 seconds, making it the shortest song in existence.

History of Funkysachin.com

This website first came into existence back in 2014 when I introduced the website as the “sponsor” to my Year 6 school council campaign (I didn’t even win and I refuse to move beyond it). Despite democracy’s faliure in getting me a seat on the school council a working FunkySachin.com came to life soon thereafter. For the next few years, I published articles reviewing technology, films and other things I can’t remember.

Somewhere between being 13 and 14 and somehow hundreds of pageviews later, school priorities took over and FunkySachin.com was taken off the internet. However when I was at home in 2022 suffering from the flu and with plenty of time on my hands, I thought it was time to bring this fantastic part of my life back from the grave.

2025 and onwards

There is a simple and very pure joy that I get knowing that somewhere in the world there is a server – on which is FunkySachin.com. I have no idea where this server is or who runs it, but it exists. And part of its purpose is to keep this website afloat.

The day before writing this (17/11/2025) I discovered that a classmate whom I had never met before my return from The Netherlands has had a stolen FunkySachin.com poster on her wall in her flat kitchen for two years (what do I say, I’m irresistable). As well as having the bragging rights to call myself a Y-list celebrity instead of a Z-list celebrity (X-list if I am feeling cheeky), I was also inspired to get the website up and running again as over my year away it had fallen into a state of disrepair akin to that of a British Leyland workshop.

What you see today is the website that I rebuilt from the ground up as I worked throughout the night after meeting my “fan”. Most of the old articles remain, and if you are lucky you may see a few new ones sometime too. This is also a much more professional version of the website, acting as a one-stop-shop for my endeavours in the world of car journalism.
